Eligible enterprises shall be an applicant of EcoChallenger and fulfil the criteria of SME under the Awards. Please refer to the SME criteria table on the Fee page.

There are 2 participating categories: EcoPartner and EcoChallenger. You may select the categories by taking reference to the following characteristics of each categories:

NO. Apart from the “Application Form”, all applicants should complete the “Environmental Project Form” to finish the whole Award application.

After submitting the “Application Form”, a confirmation email with application code and login password will be sent to the registered emails. You may click “Login” on the website main page and access to complete the “Environmental Project Form”. You are required to complete within the stated period. For applicants of EcoChallenger, the assessment organisation will be in touch for further arrangements of on-site assessment. 

If applicant fails to complete the “Environmental Project Form” before the submission deadline, the application will be regarded as unsuccessful, whereas certificate and logo will NOT be entitled to unsuccessful application.

Environmental Projects will be counted individually, therein each Environmental Project could be under the same category. 

Sample – EcoChallenger (At least 3 environmental projects are required)

Project 1) Disposal of domestic waste

Project 2) Equipment Repair

Project 3) Replacement of energy-saving light bulbs

Project 1 and Project 2 are under the Category 3 - Waste Reduction & Reuse, while Project 3 is under Category 1 - Energy conservation. This is a valid application.

* Category 7a – 7e are separate items.

Please prepare the following information for the “Project Form”:

• Information to prove the management intends to reduce gas emissions and set relevant goals and measures
• Reduction Target & Implementation Time
• Details of the Low Carbon Policies and Measures
• Total Carbon Emissions, Carbon Reduction & Calculation Method

In order to compare environmental projects among applicant effectively, PPT template is provided to all the applicant this year.

Should applicant intent to use their own PPT, please prepare the PPT with the following 5 subjects:

1. Environmental Mission
2. Areas or regions that implemented environmental projects
3. Environmental Project Details (Refer to the 9 categories on the environmental project forms, and please indicate its benefits and provide supporting data or figures)
4. Source of the technology and project with related details (Is it a self-developed technologies? Are the project(s)/ technology required by the local government?)
5. Advantages that outstand your company from the other industry practitioners

Example:

“ABC Property Management Company - DEF Court” will be displayed on the certificate.

A confirmation email with application code and login password will be sent to the registered email of the enterprise. You can click “Login” at the Main Page of this Website and access to complete the environmental project form.

For the other items, it is editable after login. Please do NOT submit application form twice.

Please send an email to the organiser. Please do not submit online application form again.

Enterprises that have applied for the Awards for 3, 5, 8 or 10 consecutive years will be granted the 3 Years+, 5 Years+, 8 Years or 10 Years+ EcoPioneer logo respectively. The online system will calculate the number of your accumulated years. Please do not submit online application form more than once, otherwise, the number of your accumulated years will be replaced and counted as first year.

The accumulated participating years will be voided if any enterprises do not participate the Award consecutively.
